EEEKTales From the West End returns February 21
Tales From the West End is an evening to explore and experience our community through stories about our common past. The event is held at one of Vancouver’s most storied buildings, formerly known as “Maxine’s” and now home to JJ Bean Coffee Roasters.
Michael Gordon, the City of Vancouver’s Senior Planner for Downtown Vancouver, is February’s featured storyteller. Michael has given several tours and presentations on both the West End and Downtown Vancouver. This month, he’ll be speaking on the history of West End high rises.
We encourage you to listen, sketch and bring your own stories and historic photographs of the West End to share with the community.
