I’m Sean, food photographer behind Flavourtown Adventures. I’ve been living in the West End for the last 9 years. Here’s a few of my favourite places for eats and drinks right here in Vancouver’s West End.
8:10am Davie and Bidwell
Getting an early (or late) start to the day? Grab a bite at my local JJ Bean Coffee (1209 Bidwell Street). JJ Bean’s Chorizo Breakfast Wrap (shown above) with Two Rivers Meats chorizo hash, scrambled eggs, Monterey Jack cheese and cilantro lime sauce on a tomato tortilla is the perfect breakfast to fuel your morning exploration of Stanley Park and the Vancouver Aquarium.
12:15pm Denman and Pendrell
Need lunch? One of Denman Street’s newest shops has a sure fire way to beat the heat! Che-Licious Desserts and Snacks (1120 Denman Street) offers up tasty Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches and icy blended brings with a whole assortment of fun add-ins that will put a smile on your face.
Another favourite from Che-Licious is the blended young coconut with jackfruit, pom pearls and tapioca pearls. Yum!
8:15pm Robson and Bidwell
And last but certainly not least on our food tour of the West End.. Time for some pizza for the people at Pizza Fabrika (1680 Robson Street)!
This evening, we’re going to start off with this vegetarian pizza with arugula, zucchini, peppers, sun dried tomatoes and goat cheese.
And for the meat lovers out there, one of my absolute favourites at Pizza Fabrika is the classic Margherita.
