We couldn’t have asked for a better day for Car Free Day West End, this year held on Saturday, June 20. The sun was shining, the crowds were out, and the streets were alive with music, family-friendly activities, food and shopping.

Car Free Day highlights the best of the West End, bringing together business owners, community organizations, artists and volunteers together to seed the idea of building a better, more livable city.

This year, the West End BIA, Denman Place Mall, and Hollyburn Properties sponsored live music stages which really helped draw crowds and animate the streets.

The organizers of Car Free Day West End and the West End BIA appreciate all the businesses and community organizations that participated in this year’s event as well as every who made their way to Denman Street to join in on the fun. We’re already looking forward to 2016!
